Deena Daya Seva Trust wants to extend a supporting hand for empowering the weak dispossessed and underprivileged sections of the socitcity , irrespective of their caste, creed, gender or religion. For this, resources have to be mobilised from various righteous sources and distribute them to the needy and havenots. The Trust strives to attain social equality, social justice and promote national integration.

In additon to the existing services rendered by the Trust, the following additional projects are envisaged for supporting the urgent needs of the neglected society.

New Projects

Oldage Home

A home for sheltering the neglected and unsupported oldage people is proposed under this project. People at oldage need not only food, shelter, and medical care but they should also get affection and humane treatment.

Nowadays, people at oldage even from affluent familes are left unsupported and helpless due to various reasions. They also need physical support, affectionate nursing and care.

The Trust proposes an oldagehome in the premises acquired at Kolani in Thodupuzha.

A House for the orphans - "Balabhavan"

The Trust started an orphanage for young boys in the year 2004. It is now functioning with 15 inmates in a rented bulding. The Balabhavan got approvel from the Orphanage Control Board of the Govt. of Kerala. We provide the children with food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and eduction. Our aim is to groom them as worthy citizens of India with deep respect for our culture and heritage. Surviys show that about 30% of the children are poor and helpless. There are hundreds of street children abandoned by their parents. These destitutes are not either attending schools or have any means to lead a dignified life.

The Trust wants to construct a bulding to accommodate atleast onehundred poor children. The land requred is already procured by the Trust. we hope this noble aim can be cherished with generous contribution from the benevolent public. The approximate cost of construction of the building will be Rs75,00,000/-(rupees sventy five lacks).

Short Stay Home

Due to illfate and unscruupulous circumstances, several persons fall in the company of antisocial elements and get involed in turpitudes. Unfortunately they are discarded by their kith and kins. The situation of isolation arises due to various reasions such as court orders, police directions etc.

We propse a project for providing temporary shelter to such abandoned people. We expect assistance from Govt. also to this venture.

Daycare Centre and Nursery

In the modern socity, most of the parents go to work for earning money for their livelihood. In such situation, the parents are put to much hardships for looking after the infants in their abesence. To overcome such difficult situation, the Trust proposes to start a Day Care Centre, where the kids will be taken care of, while parents go for work. We hope this project will be a great boon to the society in alleviating thir hardships.
